Dress to Impress :: dress-apron vs. apron-dress

Vestidos que se assemelham a aventais, aventais que parecem vestidos... alguns são difíceis de distinguir! Deixo-vos com estas imagens de outros tempos e aproveito para vos desejar *bom fim-de-semana*!

Dresses that look like aprons, aprons that resemble dresses... sometimes it's hard to tell the difference! I leave you with these pictures from a bygone era and take this chance to wish you a *happy weekend*!

  1. And to make it even more confusing, some patterns mix both. :)
    Thank you for those pictures! I just love the first Simplicity pattern from the 50s: those are adorable aprons, and the fabrics they used are lovely!

  3. It was in the early 60's, I was a little girl... My sister and myself wore dresses as you show in your post ! They were sewed by my grand-mother, or my mother... What lovely rememberings ! Thanks a lot for the nice times I use to spend when visiting your blog. I will come back soon !
    Best regards and so long...

  4. Ok. So are these beautiful patterns just to look at, or can I actually find them to make dress, or apron that I like.
