Pois é, lá decidi aumentar o molde desta carteira para 150% e fazer uma mala para a minha mãe, que não gosta de sacos grandes. Acrescentei uma alça, de resto é em tudo igual à anterior. Continuo a adorar a forma!

Well, I did enlarge this clutch's pattern to 150% to make a bag for my mum, who doesn't like big bags. I added a strap, other wise it's pretty mutch the same pattern. I really love this shape!
Muito bonita... também gosto.
ReplyDeleteI like what you did with this clutch! I have the same pattern and I saw your first one on flickr. I'm going to have to enlarge mine, I think this would be the perfect size for a "night on the town" bag. I like the addition of the strap too - great job!
ReplyDeleteWhat type of interfacing did you use? It looks pretty strong. I live in Spain and I suppose I have the same problems as you to get certain materials.
ReplyDeleteThe first time I sewed this clutch I used two layers of canvas -- it was the perfect interfacing. This time though I used one layer of canvas amd one layer of cotton flannel... uhm, I prefer my first choice. I did this because I'm not too keen on fusible interfacing and I love natural fabrics. Hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteObrigado. Lo intentaré así, mi portugués alcanza a comprender nada más y cantar canciones ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful bag! I know your mum is going to just love it! It looks like it is the perfect size, too - not too big, and not too small. Just enough!
ReplyDeleteAdoro!
ReplyDeleteGosto muito!
ReplyDeleteGosto!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the way the bag turned out! What are the dimensions when it is enlarged to 150%? I'm thinking about purchasing the same pattern. BTW, your work is very inspirational. :)
