Já comecei a cortar os tecidos para o coin quilt: 108 rectângulos de padrões entre o azul, o encarnado, o cor-de-rosa e o branco. Agora vem a parte aborrecida: cortar 109 rectângulos brancos. E a seguir virá a parte mais gira: escolher a localização de cada rectângulo... mal posso esperar!

I have already started cutting fabrics for the coin quilt: 108 blocks in blue, red, pink and white. Now comes the monotunous part: cutting 109 solid white rectangles. And then it'll come the fun part: choosing where each print goes... I can't wait!

Muito bonita a selecção de tecidos! Tem tudo a ver contigo!
ReplyDeletePhew! Hard work. You kind of have to celebrate after cutting all those white pieces, don´t you? :)
ReplyDeleteYou inspire me to try to make a quilt. Some time when I have the right fabrics for it, and the patience, I have to do it! :-)
If you want to feel even more happy about the Portugese weather I can give you a report from spring in Stockholm which today had 2 degrees + and snow on the streets. Please send us some sun!
Wow, the more I look at it, the better it gets. This must turn into a great project, you can't miss. Good luck with it! I may even follow doing this when I feel 'good enough'.
