Lojas de Tecidos - I :: Fabric Shops - I

1- No mercado de Albert Cuyp, em Amsterdão, comprei uns "básicos": bolinhas, riscas, quadradinhos.

1- At the Albert Cuyp market, in Amsterdam, I bought some "basics": polka dots, stripes, ginghams.

2- No Skipper Stoffer, em Copenhagen, limitei-me a educar o gosto. Quero com isto dizer que a loja era fora de série, os tecidos fantásticos, mas os preços demasiados altos para as minhas possibilidades.

2- At Skipper Stoffer, in Copenhagen, I "educated my taste" (a Portuguese expression). I mean that the shop was exquisite, the fabrics wonderful, but the price range was too high for my budget.

3- Apesar de não ter trazido nada da Husflid, também em Copenhagen, fiquei contente por ter descoberto esta loja bestial. Finalmente pude ver e tocar nos famosos lençóis vintage de que as americanas tanto falam (óptimos exemplos aqui).

3- Although I bought nothing at Husflid, also located in Copenhagen, I was glad to have found this amazing shop. I finally managed to see and touch those famous vintage sheets Americans talk so much about (great examples here).
